ITPUG @PyCon2

Big thanks to the Italian Python Association and to the organizational members of the PyCon2 for giving the ITPUG a good chance to be there.

It started in the itpug mailing list just like the idea of meeting the other itpug members at pycon2, wear the electric-blue T-shirt and enjoy the conference while making us a bit more visibile....we've had much more than that.
One of the ITPUG founder members is also a PyCon founder member: Daniele Varrazzo. He asked the PyCon2 for the chance to be there and have a small space....and the ITPUG was there ;) .

So, Gabriele and Simone came for all day long of saturday 10th, while Maurizio and me were enjoyng the great talks in the conference and meet other italian pythonistas, on sunday 11th the first part of the day with Maurizio and the rest of it with Daniele (in electric-blue T-shirt! ;) .

I don't have enough words to say how kind and available the PyCon2 organizational stuff were. While having a big job to do (the conference had 320 subscribers, 300 presences...great results!) they have been always ready to answer and take care of everything the ITPUG might have needed....always in a warm and kind manner... i'm so thankful.

I left the PyCon2 looking forward and personnally inviting Giovanni Bajo, Nicola Larosa (they came at PGday2007) to meet each other again at PGDay 2008, and glad for having been there, i do love the Python Programming Language and one of the reasons is its community ...ops almost forgetting: i subscribed the Italian Python Association, and i'm proud of it ;) .

...thank you!
