2010-11-28 15:49:29

At it's fourth edition the Italian PGDay and ITPUG organizers of the conference wait for you in Rome, the eternal city. As one of the ITPUG organizers members of the Italian PGDay, I'm happily proud to have this edition in Rome, the city where I live.

It will be a day devoted to one of the things we like the most: PostgreSQL, with Italian and international speakers coming from around Italy, Europe and the world. It is going to be a nice occasion for us all to get together and bring our knowledge and experience in the form of speeches and lightning talks but even of colloquial friendly exchange while tasting italian coffees, sweets and a colorful lunch, all together.

The opening of the conference is at 09.30AM (CET) following, and starting the conference, Mr. Simon Riggs, founder and CTO of 2ndQuadrant and main developer of the Hot Standby, with a keynote on PostgreSQL9.0 and after a coffee to further warm-up, a two-tracks sequel of talks in English and Italian languages, Read the Program.

Registration is open for one of the most interesting italian yearly open source event, come and be one of us.

A Partnership program is available, for companies and individuals willing to support the conference.

For any other kind of information feel free to direct messaging me, via Twitter or comments here or at lazio@itpug.org, I'll be glad to be of help.

The Italian PGDay 2010 conference will be on Friday 10th December 2010, at:

Centro Congressi iCavour, via Cavour 50, 00185 Roma
